Custom University

Training and education have been a vital part of Custom Aluminum Products’ culture. We firmly believe that the success of our people is the success of our company. For many years we have been offered classes to further the knowledge, skills, and safety of our employees. Custom University has allowed us to formalize our training and we have seen tremendous progress and benefits from our continual education programs. Our recent ISO 45001:2018 certification is a point of pride for all of us.

With our local Community colleges Custom University created year-long courses that offer educational opportunities for all levels at our company. Outside instructors, including industry professionals, and college instructors come to Custom Aluminum to teach courses. Through Custom University we have been able to offer such classes as APICS, Six Sigma, advanced GD&T, 5S, lean manufacturing, basic print reading and measuring, hazardous material and safety communications, leadership training and many more courses and seminars to enhance our employees growth.

We are fortunate to have the facilities to support these classes and enjoy the added benefit that our customers can participate in these same courses. This interaction provides a transparent environment and has enhanced better customer relationships working side by side learning together. Custom University has been a resounding success and we have been fortunate to win a state-wide award in conjunction with our college partner for our innovative program.
